Dr Robaei is the Founder and Director of Forest Eye Surgery. She is a comprehensive ophthalmic surgeon with additional expertise in corneal diseases and corneal transplantation.

She completed her undergraduate medical degree with Honours at University of New South Wales (UNSW). Her ophthalmology specialist training was completed at Sydney Eye Hospital, where she also gained subspecialty fellowship training in medical retina. She then travelled to London to undergo a second subspecialty fellowship in complex cataract surgery and corneal surgery at the world-renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital.

Dr Robaei holds a Master of Public Health from UNSW, and a PhD in ophthalmology from the University of Sydney. She is a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney, and a consultant ophthalmologist at Westmead Hospital where she teaches cataract and corneal surgery to future ophthalmic surgeons.

She has extensively published in the national and international ophthalmic literature, and presented at international ophthalmology conferences, as well as having authored a book on childhood visual impairment.

Dr Robaei is committed to clinical and surgical excellence, with the aim of providing the highest possible standard of care based on the latest available evidence, in combination with effective communication to patients and their referrers.
